eTA / eVisa
Since January 2024, Kenya replaced its visa system with an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) that all Nigerian travellers must obtain online before departure.
USD 34 eTA processing fee, payable online only.
Standard processing is around 3 working days — apply at least a few days before departure, and as early as 3 months ahead if you prefer.
Determined at the discretion of the immigration officer on arrival; the eTA itself does not guarantee entry.
Who needs this
All Nigerian travellers to Kenya, except East African Community citizens, must obtain an eTA before departure — it is not issued on arrival.
