Visa on arrival
Rwanda grants visa on arrival to travellers of all nationalities, including Nigerians, making it one of the simplest African destinations to enter.
Visa on arrival fees vary by stay length; an eVisa can also be arranged online in advance if preferred.
Not applicable for visa on arrival — processed at the border. eVisa applications (if used instead) are typically processed within a few days.
Commonly up to 30 or 90 days depending on visa type — confirmed at the point of entry.
Who needs this
No advance visa is required for Nigerian citizens — Rwanda has granted visa on arrival to all nationalities since January 2018.
